ALEXANDER WANG - ADIDAS NERO BBALL SOCCER

Alexander Wang x Adidas – BBall Soccer
Starting from this identity, the project develops a visual system inspired by avant-garde design principles: strong graphic compositions, unconventional framing and a radical use of contrast and negative space. The art direction moves away from conventional product photography, transforming the sneaker into an almost sculptural object within the frame.
This project explores a more experimental and avant-garde visual direction for the collaboration between Alexander Wang and Adidas, focusing on the bold aesthetic of the BBall Soccer sneaker. The collaboration between the two brands is known for its disruptive approach to sportswear, characterized by flipped logos, industrial influences and a visual language that challenges the traditional codes of athletic design.
The color palette, dominated by deep blacks and sharp highlights, enhances the materiality of the shoe and reinforces a dark, futuristic atmosphere. Graphic interventions and abstract visual elements interact with the product, creating a layered composition where fashion, design and visual experimentation converge.
Through this approach, the BBall Soccer becomes more than a sneaker: it turns into a design artifact that embodies the hybrid identity of the collaboration—where sport, street culture and high fashion intersect. The result is a visual narrative that embraces avant-garde aesthetics to amplify the disruptive spirit of the Alexander Wang x Adidas partnership.
