Ater Foundation - Teatri nella rete
The project transforms the traditional theater experience into a dynamic, accessible, and interactive digital format, allowing audiences to connect with performances, creators, and the magic of live theater, even at a distance. It is an effort to put theater back at the center of cultural life, exploring new ways to build relationships with the public and engage diverse audiences.
Teatri nella Rete is the innovative streaming project of the Ater Emilia Romagna Foundation, designed to bring theater directly into homes while fostering new forms of audience engagement. Running from Tuesday 1st December to Sunday 24th January, the initiative features eleven premieres from the stages of the Multidisciplinary Circuit of Emilia Romagna and the historic Galli Theater in Rimini, alongside webinars, behind-the-scenes insights, and special programs for children.
With a history spanning over 50 years, the Ater Foundation has been a cornerstone of Italy’s performing arts landscape, evolving from the Emilia-Romagna Theater Association into its current form in January 2020. Teatri nella Rete embodies this legacy while embracing the future, blending tradition, creativity, and innovation into a single immersive experience.
The project highlights the power of theater to inspire, educate, and connect, reaffirming Ater Emilia Romagna’s role as a leading institution in production, dissemination, and cultural innovation.
