Through photography and image-making, we constructed a bold and immersive visual language defined by contrasts, textures, and attitude. The styling, casting, and composition work together to reflect a sense of belonging and individuality, highlighting the tension between collective identity and personal expression.
Barrio Bodega is a visual exploration of contemporary street culture, where fashion, identity, and environment converge into a raw and expressive narrative.
Developed through a strong art direction approach, the project captures the essence of the “barrio” as both a physical and symbolic space a place shaped by everyday rituals, community energy, and spontaneous aesthetics. The bodega becomes a focal point: a hybrid environment where urban life unfolds, blending authenticity with visual storytelling.
The project embraces an unfiltered, almost documentary-like perspective, while maintaining a highly curated aesthetic. Light, color, and framing are used to enhance the atmosphere, transforming ordinary scenes into striking visual statements.
