COLIAC x Nike is an experimental capsule project
From an early age, Martina Grasselli has been a passionate lover of travel and design, drawing inspiration from the many strong women in her family to create a highly unique and personal artistic style. Following her studies in Textile Design at NABA in Milan, she moved to Paris to study at Duperré Fashion School. She subsequently worked for prestigious names such as Christian Louboutin, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and Stella McCartney.
COLIAC x Nike is an experimental capsule project celebrating the collaboration between the innovative jewellery and fashion brand COLIAC and Nike. We managed the marketing analysis, brand positioning, and led the art direction, overseeing the creation of visual graphics and 3D motion content tailored for social media.
Martina’s design fuses childhood influences with contemporary femininity, effortlessly incorporating masculine forms, conceptual detailing, and the art world’s tongue-in-cheek insouciance. This distinctive fusion gave birth to COLIAC, a jewellery label named after Martina’s maternal grandmother, the family’s last descendant of French nobility.
Since 2009, COLIAC has expanded its design practice into footwear, and from 2016 onwards, into clothing and bags. In 2013, the brand launched its iconic Fernanda shoes best-selling derbies named after Martina’s mother which combine masculine structure with hyper-feminine details such as metal and pearl-mounted “laces”.
For this special project, Martina Grasselli contacted us to create a highly experimental and visually striking capsule in honor of Nike, blending her signature style with the energy and innovation of the brand.
