Fondazione Collegio San Carlo

For this project, we developed a comprehensive visual identity system, including the design of printed materials, editorial layouts, and environmental graphics. The intervention focused on creating a coherent visual language capable of reflecting the Foundation’s academic rigor and cultural mission while ensuring clarity, usability, and aesthetic quality across all touchpoints.

The Collegio San Carlo di Modena Foundation is a private training and research institute with a public mission in the cultural field, focusing on philosophy, human and social sciences, and religious studies. Through its International School of Advanced Studies, the Foundation promotes research in the humanities with doctoral and specialization courses for European graduates supported by scholarships. Its College offers services, training, and support for university studies, while its Cultural Center and Center for Religious Studies provide in-depth programs, workshops, conferences, theatrical performances, and publications. The Foundation also runs programs in philosophy for children and provides access to its specialized library to support study and research.

We designed signage, wayfinding systems, and installation graphics to enhance the visitor experience, making navigation intuitive and the presentation of spaces and activities visually engaging. The printed and environmental materials were conceived to communicate the Foundation’s identity in a consistent, elegant, and contemporary manner.

The result is a unified visual system that supports the Foundation’s role as a center of cultural reflection, promoting research, learning, and public engagement across all age groups.
