Jan Jelinek

Ventie30 curated the art direction and the visual development of the project, designing a coherent visual language across multiple media. The work included visual design, motion graphics and packaging, conceived as complementary elements of a single narrative ecosystem.

The project developed for the electronic musician Jan Jelinek explores the intersection between sound, visual identity and material culture. Known for his experimental approach to sampling and the transformation of sound fragments into dense rhythmic textures, Jelinek’s work provided the conceptual starting point for a visual system capable of translating sonic structures into graphic form.

The graphic system draws inspiration from the logic of electronic composition: repetition, layering and micro-variations become visual devices that structure typography, layouts and animated sequences. Motion graphics extend this approach into time-based media, translating the rhythm and abstraction of Jelinek’s sound practice into dynamic visual patterns.

Packaging and printed materials were conceived as tactile extensions of the project, where graphic minimalism and material choices reinforce the relationship between sound, object and perception.

The result is a multidisciplinary design project where visual identity, motion and physical artifacts operate together, building a visual interpretation of Jelinek’s sonic universe.
