Lineare project in Chiostri di San Pietro

In LINEAR, digital code becomes both tool and material: each string acts as a source from which sound propagates and transforms into bands of pixels, creating a continuous dialogue between visual and sensory perception. Linear light becomes an inspired artifice, energy that generates movement, while linear nature translates into a process of visual photosynthesis, where form, rhythm, and intensity merge into an immersive and poetic experience.

LINEAR is an installative and generative project that explores the concept of linear time through art, sound, and light, realized within the evocative spaces of the Cloisters of San Pietro in Reggio Emilia. The project arises as a reflection on perception and the measurement of time: from Plato, who distinguishes the sensible world from the intelligible world, to Sol LeWitt, who sees the essence of form as pure geometry, to the pentagram on which notes vibrate.

A work that explores linearity as a universal language, connecting art, science, and technology in a unique and memorable experience.

The project invites viewers to perceive time as process, vibration, and transformation: LINEAR is not just an installation but an audiovisual experience that combines conceptual rigor with emotional sensoriality, creating a space where code, sound, and light interact with the historic architecture of the location, amplifying the relationship between past and present, form and perception.
