Lowtec EP – Editorial & Vinyl Identity Project
We were responsible for the full creative direction, shaping the visual narrative and aesthetic strategy that informs every touchpoint of the project. The identity design establishes a strong, coherent visual system that speaks both to the sonic character of the EP and to the broader sensibilities of the label.
The Lowtec EP project is an editorial journey that redefines the visual language of sound, space, and tactile experience. Created for the music label Lowtec, this LP‑vinyl edition is a holistic design work where every detail from concept to physical realization has been meticulously shaped to reflect the ethos of the music and its cultural context.
The choice of materials and paper stocks played a central role in the project’s physical presence. By selecting paper with distinctive textures and tactile qualities, we enhanced the sensory engagement with the object, reinforcing the tangible connection between listener and music. Material decisions were strategic: each choice contributes to a heightened perception of quality, depth, and intentionality.
The result is a vinyl edition that stands as a complete editorial and design work a project where concept, identity, layout, materiality and production converge to give form to both sound and experience. It is a testament to a design process that places holistic authorship at its core: a project in which every element from art direction to the final choice of paper is part of a unified creative vision.
Lowtec EP is not just packaging; it is a visual and tactile extension of the music itself — an editorial work that speaks in rhythm, texture and material.
In the editorial design phase, we developed a layout language that balances clarity and expression, transforming functional elements like track listings, typography, and sequence into a visual rhythm that mirrors the music itself. The layout was conceived to guide the viewer through an intentional and sensorial narrative, where form and content resonate in harmony.
