Modernism Disorder – Editorial & Video Installation
Our approach combined editorial design, art direction, and visual storytelling, crafting a cohesive narrative where print and digital experiences coexist. The editorial component serves as both documentation and extension of the installation, reflecting the tension between structure and creative freedom that defines the project. Layouts, typography, and visual hierarchy were orchestrated to mirror the depth and rhythm of the content, creating a reading experience that is as conceptual as it is tactile.
Modernism Disorder is an editorial and installed video project conceived as an immersive exploration of perception, narrative, and visual form. Designed to accompany an exhibition event, the project unfolds in a surrealist mode, translating complex brand mechanisms into a dynamic interplay of image, sound, and material presence.
Modernism Disorder is also an active, generative video installation, where visuals and sound are programmed to evolve in real time. This dynamic system links the conceptual depth of the brand with natural and auditory elements, producing an experience that is simultaneously reflective, playful, and unpredictable. Every movement, color shift, and audio cue is carefully considered to maintain coherence with the editorial narrative, while enhancing the immersive quality of the exhibition.
The project embodies a fusion of disciplines: print, motion, sound, and space converge into a singular design experience. It demonstrates how editorial and installation work can intersect, offering an engaging, multi-sensory encounter that communicates concept, emotion, and visual identity with clarity and creativity.
Modernism Disorder is not just a publication or an exhibition it is a living exploration of how design can bridge static and dynamic forms, transforming content into an experience that is perceptive, poetic, and alive.
