New Balance 550 Project

Our work focused on shaping a creative vision that amplifies the heritage and contemporary relevance of the 550. We developed a visual identity that emphasizes the balance between sport roots and modern lifestyle culture: a language that communicates authenticity, craftsmanship, and cultural resonance. Every design choice from composition and color exploration to typographic treatment and layout was aligned to celebrate the silhouette’s heritage while presenting it in a fresh, visually compelling context.

For the New Balance 550 project, we were entrusted with the creative direction and visual design for a reinterpretation of one of the most iconic sneaker silhouettes. Originally launched in 1989 as a basketball shoe and later rediscovered as a fashion classic, the 550 has become a cultural staple appreciated for its clean lines, minimal aesthetic, and timeless appeal.





The result is a cohesive creative ecosystem that elevates the New Balance 550 from a classic sneaker model to a cultural narrative, strengthening its connection with both loyal enthusiasts and new audiences.
