OPTICAL
At its core, the project is driven by the idea of observing and reinterpreting reality through a visual filter, where graphic elements, patterns, and compositions act as perceptual devices. Shapes transform, repeat, and distort, creating a continuous dialogue between order and abstraction. The result is a visual system that echoes the behavior of light and optical surfaces, translated into a contemporary graphic language.
OPTICAL is a visual research project developed by Ventie30 – Digital Design Studio, where graphic design becomes a tool to explore the concept of perception and the relationship between form, light, and vision. As part of the studio’s broader practice ranging from art direction to visual experimentation the project stands as an investigation into the language of images and their expressive potential.
The construction of each image follows an experimental approach: signs, geometries, and contrasts are combined to generate dynamic visual effects, where perception is never static but constantly evolving. The project operates within a delicate balance between precision and distortion, between compositional rigor and expressive freedom, producing a series of works that stimulate the eye and invite active interpretation.
OPTICAL goes beyond a purely aesthetic exercise, becoming a reflection on design as a tool to interpret reality. Through the manipulation of forms and visual structures, the project challenges what we see, suggesting new ways of observing and understanding visual space.
In summary, OPTICAL merges graphic research and perceptual experimentation, transforming design into an immersive visual experience where every element contributes to a language built on light, form, and interpretation.
