SCYPHOMEDUSAE VINYL — Graphic & Motion Design for a Sonic Identity
At its core, this project is a dialogue between sound and form: the cover design serves not only as a physical artefact but as a visual performance of the music’s emotional and conceptual layers. Through careful graphic composition, chromatic intent, and typographic precision, we sculpted imagery that resonates with both aesthetic depth and narrative tension.
ScyphoMedusae Vinyl is a project where visual design, concept development, art direction, graphic identity and motion graphics converge to shape a compelling visual universe for a music release that lives between depth and abstraction. For this work, we conceived and crafted the entire graphic system from the EP cover to supporting visual elements — translating sonic textures and thematic sensibilities into a powerful visual narrative.
In addition to static design, we developed motion graphic elements that expand the EP’s identity into time and movement creating sequences calibrated to evoke rhythm, texture, and spatial immersion. These motion pieces become extensions of the music itself, offering audiences a multisensory experience that bridges audio and visual languages.
This work reflects a holistic creative process, where conceptual clarity meets visual strategy: every design decision was informed by the music’s mood, structure, and expressive potential. The result is a distinctive identity that elevates the EP to a cohesive artistic statement visually compelling, conceptually robust, and perfectly aligned with contemporary visual culture.
