SMART LIFE FESTIVAL IDENTITY — Humanism 5.0 in Visual Design

For this edition, Ventie30 was responsible for developing the full visual identity, including concept design, graphic systems, art direction, curated visual assets, and typography. The goal was to translate the abstract and forward‑thinking ideas of Humanism 5.0 into a tangible and immersive visual language, applicable across digital, print, and environmental media. Every element color, typography, layout, and modular graphic components was calibrated to reflect the festival’s vision of innovation, human-centered technology, and societal evolution.

The seventh edition of the Festival of Digital Culture is dedicated to the theme “Humanism 5.0”, highlighting one of the most significant transformations shaping our present and near future: the emergence of what scholars and analysts call “Society 5.0” or the super smart society. This concept, introduced in 2016 by the Japanese government in the study Towards the Creation of a Society 5.0, in collaboration with the Japanese Federation of Enterprises (Keidanren), builds on principles already presented in the UNESCO Science Report: Towards 2030 (2015).

The identity system was designed as a flexible visual ecosystem, capable of adapting to multiple contexts from posters, banners, and brochures to digital campaigns and social media activations while maintaining conceptual and aesthetic coherence. The result is a bold, contemporary, and cohesive identity that embodies the festival’s mission: to foster dialogue, awareness, and engagement on the impact of emerging technologies in society.

By merging strategic concepting, visual storytelling, and design precision, the Smart Life Festival identity serves not only as a communication tool but as a conceptual lens through which audiences can explore and experience the ideas of Humanism 5.0
