TERMINAL – Art Direction & Graphic Vision

The art direction was defined by a balance between conceptual rigor and expressive inventiveness. Every graphic choice was made with an eye toward clarity of communication and visual harmony, ensuring that the project’s identity feels both purposeful and distinct. The outcome is a graphic ecosystem that enhances the conceptual narrative of TERMINAL, elevating its presence through design that is strategic, evocative, and reflective of the project’s intellectual curiosity.

As Creative Director for TERMINAL, I approached the project as a deep exploration of visual language and conceptual expression, guiding the art direction and graphic design with intentional clarity and strategy. TERMINAL sits within our research‑driven graphic design practice, and the challenge was to craft a visual identity and graphic system that could articulate both conceptual depth and expressive form.

From the initial ideation through each design decision, I steered the team to focus on how visual elements from typography and layout to composition and texture could work together to convey meaning with precision and emotional resonance. Our aim was not simply to create graphic material, but to shape a visual experience that feels coherent, thoughtful, and relevant to the research context of the project.
